Seeing how there is a literal dead corpse inside springtrap that has been there for 30 years. He must have smelt absolutely TERRIBLE, like the worst smell known to man. The blood probably dried off since its been 30 years, so its understandable why they didnt see that. But what about the literal organs and stuff.

FNAF’s Springtrap personality. Much like its host William Afton, Springtrap is a menacing animatronic with a penchant for killing. However, unlike the other animatronics that seemingly want to kill adults as revenge on Afton, Springtrap is almost exclusively trying to kill children in an attempt to understand the Remnant and gain immortality. Springtrap is a tattered, formerly yellow springlock hybrid-style animatronic and wear-around suit, appearing to be a rabbit with olive green tints, notably on his stomach and ear insides. He seems to be covered in a grimy layer of dirt, and much like with the Withered Animatronics from FNaF 2, Springtrap appears to be in heavy disrepair.

That would mean, theoretically, that for 30 years, Springtrap was fine, but then started to rot after 30 years of concealment. My only explanations are that either his shell was made of cheaper material, Scott over-looked this, or Purple Guy's rotting corpse had something to do with Springtrap's rapid decomposition.
